Cococubs. You won't find it all here but it's a good start. Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the site (hit the buttons) and the use of a hyper-link to access the link to Beatrix Potter (Found under

27 June 1994 was a great day for collectors; the auction of Britains Archive Collection
which featured some rare and some unique Cococub colour variants. Since then my close interest in variants has led me to conclude that there is a set that is very special in that figures from it only occur very infrequently and then they all tend to feature in the same sale indicating that they have been in the same ownership since acquisition and I conclude that they were given as a set rather than collected individually. These figures include:-
Tiny Tusks with white (rather than yellow) patch to trousers, Bill Badger with a blue (rather than red) scarf, Monty Monkey with a beige (rather than red) Fez,
Percy Pelican with a blue (rather than red) cap,
also we could perhaps include Timothy Tortoise with a grey front rather than a yellow waistcoat. I have no clues as to the source of these variants; if they were part of the "Spring Clothing" release they would
come up for sale as individual pieces with greater frequency. Perhaps they were from the box of 4 figures that Cococubs could buy with their coupons. Any clues or observations from fellow collectors would be appreciated. Celebrate 75 Years of the Cococubs
Great new 36 page hardback book (September 2009). To celebrate 75 years of The Cococubs I am pleased to introduce the ultimate publication to gladden the hearts of collectors everywhere. Professionally bound and
published in hardback the book features information never previously published including all the existing original designs for the figures. Grateful thanks to Norman Joplin for sourcing the unique information detailed on page 7.
A Great Present for a Loved One with over 80 pictures and 9,000 words. I have been told by a happy customer that " The book is very informative & well designed. It gave me a lot of information I hadn't previously known, such as the solid
cast figures, I have never seen any. It is very detailed & the colour variation pages are especially helpful. Cheers, Don.
