Pricing - I guess that you have been looking at items for sale on the Internet and want to
know a little more about pricing. Prices on Internet auction sites vary tremendously according to who is buying at any specific time. For this reason I can only give advice in general terms. You will
probably be aware that a search on 'finished auctions' on eBay will reveal the prices achieved over the last few weeks. There are two main sources of
figures these days –Toy Fairs where the figures have a fixed price on display, you can touch and feel your purchase, haggle on price and come away with a bargain. The other source is the internet auction sites
where the figure is put up for sale by a seller with frequently no knowledge of what is being sold and the price is governed by what the highest bidder is prepared to pay on a world market - at that time.
Condition – is paramount. A figure in 'Mint' condition can command three or four times that of a figure with a few chips. |
